Good news folks, the long-awaited Date-A-Base book for 2008 is all finished. It’s just being proof-read then it’s off to the printers next week. The 2009 edition should also be ready in about a month.
The 2008 edition lists over 1,300 forthcoming anniversaries of historic events, and fills 56 A4 pages. It covers the entire year from Jan – Dec 2008. Every entry has been cross-checked and verified – a painstaking process!
The book is aimed at writers, journalists, editors, film-makers, producers, researchers, students and teachers.
The book covers international events, not just British ones, so you’ll find it a very useful reference and source of ideas wherever you live!
As well as the printed version there will be a downloadable e-book version. Pricing details very soon – we’re just waiting for a final quote from the printers.
If you’d like one of the first copies please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I’ll send you a message as soon as they’re ready to send out. If you could also let me know if you would prefer an e-book version or a printed copy that would be helpful.
