I’m still looking for a decent radio station that does great comedy and broadcasts over the internet. Apart from BBC Radio 4 and 7 – but I’m looking for something else to listen to in addition to those, as they don’t always broadcast comedy.
There are a few comedy stations around on the net, but none seem to be my sort of thing. I’m not into phone pranks and that sort of stuff, and several of them seem to broadcast nothing else. I’ll keep looking…
Meanwhile, I’ve come across Live 365 which lists thousands of internet radio stations around the world. Excellent. And through that site I’ve discovered Club 80s which plays 1980s dance music, electronic stuff and 12 inches - B52s, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Falco, Heaven17, Human League, INXS, New Order, OMD, Pet Shop Boys, Tears For Fears, U2, Visage, etc. Wonderful – and it’s CD quality too – it’s like they made it just for me! I’ll be keeping this on while I write the new book.
